Wilmslow Round Table will be hosting their annual Senior Citizens Evening this month, which normally attracts in the region of 150 people.

Guests will be bussed in from the local area for a full evening's entertainment, including a free concert with music, comedy and magic along with complimentary refreshments at Honford Hall in Handforth.

Stephen Killilea said "This has been an annual event of Wilmslow Round Table for years to reach out to those members of our community who do not get out much or have the ability to get out on their own.

"We arrange four coaches and a fleet of cars to pick everyone up, then greet them with a glass of sherry upon arrival. After the first act of the evening, they will then all get sandwiches, cake and tea prior to another act. We normally have a couple of games like find the oldest person in the room, which was 102 years last year."

All the Round table volunteers wear black tie to help make the event, which is funded from their sleigh collections and bonfire and firework display, feel that bit more special.

The Wilmslow Round Table Senior Citizens Party will take place on Saturday 13th April at Honford Hall in Handforth, starting at 6.30pm.

Please email Stephen Killilea or call him on 07801 125045 for further information.

So Round Tablers like to play games such as 'find the oldest person in the room', is this some kind of geriatric hide and seek?
Seriously, Round Table does great charity work and deserves all our support.
