Two males were disturbed whilst trying to enter a house on Knutsford Road through an insecure kitchen door.
The men were described as both being approximately 18 years of age and wearing woollen hats.
The owner of the property recognised one male as the same person who had knocked on his door earlier in the evening trying to sell him something.
The incident occurred at 9.23pm on Tuesday, 26th February.
