After 5 years of trading in Wilmslow, Gourmet Burger Kitchen has closed its doors.

The family restaurant, located in the Rex Buildings on Alderley Road, ceased trading in Wilmslow on Wednesday, 30th January.

The company, which operates fifty seven restaurants, placed a notice on the door saying "Would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone of you who has walked through our doors and had the experience of GBK."

Another retailer pulled out of wilmslow! Please wake up Cheshire east .. There will more to follow if the council don't support retailers in the town! Instead of wasting our money on silly projects ... That never work!! Try supporting the retailers in marketing workshops etc? If nothing done to support the retailers in wilmslow, it will become a Chost town again!!! Action is needed now!

Not surprised this restaurant closed. The prices were very high (£50 to feed a family of 4) and quality was low.....not a good business model and people voted with their feet
