Wilmslow based recruitment specialists Leap29 came in 14th place in the 2012 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list published this week.

The winners were announced at the annual awards dinner held in London on Wednesday, 22nd February. This was Leap29's second year entering the awards having previously finishing 22nd in 2011.

The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for lists are compiled based on research from the largest survey of its kind. This year, over 275,000 employees were surveyed from 1165 organisations to create the lists.

Zoe Watson, Joint Managing Director at Leap29, said "In 2011 we had great success finishing 22nd so we are thrilled to have moved up to 14th in the rankings. Over the last 12 months we have continued to grow and develop as a business focusing on employee engagement and striving towards our goal of becoming an employer of choice."

Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of Best Companies, comments: "The 100 Best Companies to Work for list is now in its 11th Year, and each year we are blown away by the calibre of companies entering. As more and more companies are switching on to employee engagement and the benefits it can bring, we are seeing British workplaces becoming better places to work each year. To be recognised as one of the 100 Best, then, is truly an achievement to be proud of."
