Mountain bike stolen from Bulkeley Road

A valuable mountain bike has been stolen from a house on Bulkeley Road in Handforth.

Offenders approached a semi detached house in the quiet side street between the hours of 5pm and 6.10pm on Tuesday, 7th February.

They went to the rear of the property, via a small private lane, climbed over the fence into the garden and using an unknown implement they smashed a large double glazed glass unit in the rear sliding patio door.

Once inside the house the offenders made an untidy search taking a few small items. They then entered the shed in the back garden and removed a valuable mountain bike which they put over the fence before making their escape.

Anyone with information about this burglary should contact Cheshire police on 101 or call anonymously to CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
