Two representatives from Friends for Leisure (FFL), Abi Jones and Kurt Turner, attended an assembly at Ashdene Primary School to receive a cheque for over £1,000 as a donation to the charity.

The school raised the money at several events they hosted throughout the Christmas season.

Sue Conway said "Friends for Leisure were delighted that they had been chosen and thank the school very much for their generosity. It will help to support activities for disabled children and young people, including those from Wilmslow."

FFL help by finding a volunteer friend or by enabling children and young people with disabilities to participate in leisure activities of their choice.
