Wilmslow Town Council is making contact with a wide variety of groups within the town in order to construct a Stakeholder Panel.

The Council are hoping to pull together groups from as diverse a background as possible, in order to gather views and ideas for the future development of Wilmslow.

Matthew Jackson, Clerk of Wilmslow Town Council, said "We are engaging with stakeholders in the community to develop a vision which will help to shape Wilmslow's future.

"Cheshire East Council is developing a new Local Plan up to 2030. The Wilmslow Town Vision work we are undertaking will provide a basis from which to consider the future of our town and in forming the new plan for Cheshire East.

"The Stakeholder Panel is going to be looking at Wilmslow as a whole and not specifically at the Town Centre as that will be looked at in greater detail later on."

Wilmslow Town Council has identified many stakeholders but would like to add others, notably a representative to provide input from a disability perspective, so if you would like to know more about getting involved email Matthew Jackson or call him on 01625 402907.
