A new women's clothing and shoe shop has opened on Alderley Road, in the property briefly occupied by Aquascutum Menswear.
Daniel houses an extensive range of designer shoes, accessories and clothes, including their own brand of shoes which come from factories that supply some of the leading fashion houses.
Daniel Footwear was established in 1993 by Daniel Buck and now has stores in 25 different towns and cities across the country, including a shoe shop in Alderley Edge which opened four and a half years ago.
The Wilmslow store is considerably bigger though, enabling them to stock a selection of women's clothing, ranging from £400 Pinko coats to £69 jumpers.
Avis Booth, who is currently managing both the Alderley Edge and Wilmslow store, told me "Daniel has wanted a store in Wilmslow for about 18 months but we just couldn't find the right site.
"We've opened very quickly before Christmas then in the new year we'll sort out the proper signage.
"The shop is doing really well, particularly this past weekend with the Christmas market running."
