The Wilmslow Remembrance Day parade and service will take place on Sunday, 13th November.

Organised by the British Legion, the Remembrance Parade will depart from the British Legion Club on Grove Avenue at 9.30am.

The parade will be led by Alderley District Scout Band and include British Legion members, police officers, army cadets, air cadets, scouts, cubs, beavers, guides, brownies and rainbows.

They will also be joined by David Briggs, the Lord Lieutenant for Cheshire, Cllr Wesley Fitzgerald, Leader of Cheshire East Council, and other councillors who will march to St Bartholomew's Church for the service at 10am.

Following the service the congregation will make their way over to the Remembrance Garden at 10.50, ready for the two minutes silence and the wreath laying ceremony, before parading back to the British Legion where refreshments will be served.
