As the evenings draw in, it’s important that we all have something to look forward to.

Bonfire Night is always a fun night out for the whole family, and it’s only a month away until the Wilmslow Firework Night, organised by Wilmslow Round Table.

“We’re always pleased to provide Wilmslow with a grand bonfire, which will again be in partnership with Imagine FM, a spectacular firework display, and this year will be as good as ever.” said Paul Barney, Bonfire Chairman for Wilmslow Round Table.

“The firework display is run by a leading professional display company, so it’s the best and safest way to enjoy spectacular fireworks with the family, as well as being great value for money.”

The event takes place on Wilmslow Carnival Field and other attractions include, fairground rides for the young children, hot food and drinks, including mulled wine and freshly made doughnuts.

There is also a free park and ride scheme, running from Broadway Meadow Car Park, next to The Leisure Centre.

The event is a major part of the fundraising calendar for Wilmslow Round Table. In 2010 Wilmslow Round Table raised over £22,000 for local charities, including Francis House Children's Hospice and Macmillan.

This year, the extravaganza is on Saturday 5th November. Gates open at 5.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 6.30pm and there’s a firework display for small children, before the main firework display starts at 7.30pm.

Ticket are held at 2010 prices: £6 child, £8 adult, £23 family (2 adults and 2 children), and there’s a discount if you buy them in advance: £4 child, £6 adult, £18 family. Advance tickets can be purchased at www.wilmslowfireworks.co.uk or via local schools and local shops listed on the website.
