Following the success of their debut show last August, new theatre group Finn Youth Productions have been gearing up for their follow-up production, a take on Graham Greene's 'The Living Room'.

The show will be performed at the group's new base, Pownall Hall Theatre on October 28th and 29th.

Angus Macalister said "It is the first time 'The Living Room', a tale of love, Catholicism and Psychiatry, has been performed in the North since 1953, and we hope to use this special production to firmly mark out the tone for our future shows and ambitions."

Director Luke Gilfedder said "The content's a bit stronger than last time. I mean, there were all sorts of annoying things going on when we were trying to get Finn Youth Productions up and running – so we were kind of taken aback that it all got sorted after that first production. I think the best work can start now."

Tickets, priced £7 for adults and £5 for children, are available from 07597 439 331 or 01625 527 398. The shows start at 8pm.

Luke added "The actors are all great. There's no daft egotists or anything. They'll be on good form for the show. We're all really looking forward to it, actually."
