A new youth theatre group, set up by two eighteen year olds, is preparing for their debut.
Angus Macalister from Wilmslow and Luke Gilfedder from Warrington have set up Finn Youth Productions which will perform its first show 'Billy Liar' this week.
Angus Macalister told me "The group, crucially, is not made of 'actors' in the conventional sense - but is instead geared towards confident people purely interested in presenting an entertaining and hopefully valuable show."
Billy Liar, based on the 1959 novel by Keith Waterhouse, will be performed on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th August in the Wilmslow Parish Hall.

Angus added "Finn Youth Productions will continue to produce shows at a frequent rate in the Cheshire area, and will always be on the lookout for new and local talent."
