A new electrical wholesaler has recently set up business on the Riverside Business Park in Wilmslow.
Open to both the public and the trade, Wilmslow Electrical Supplies are aiming to fill a gap in the market and stock a large range of electrical products, from light bulbs to outdoor power boxes and floodlights to weatherproof outside sockets.
The business is owned and run by Andrew Dixon and Paul Green. Andy, 45, is originally from Wilmslow but now lives in Smallwood, whilst Paul, 32, lives in Holmes Chapel and also runs Wilmslow based G.P. Green Electrical.
Andy Dixon said "Following the closure of two electrical wholesalers in Wilmslow in the past 8 months, there was no longer a local electrical supplier. Both members of the public and trade were having to travel to either Stockport or Macclesfield to get their electrical supplies. Therefore, there was definitely a need for a well run efficient electrical supplier in Wilmslow.
He added "Looking after our customer's needs is an important part of our business. We want all local customers to feel welcome at our outlet.
"With an on-site electrician we can offer our customers a full service, from supplying them the products that they need, to providing a quality installation service in their homes."
Wilmslow Electrical Supplies is open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 12pm on Saturdays.
