The new Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery on Hawthorn Lane was formally opened on Saturday, 25th June, by Kate Puc from Francis House Children's Hospice.
The opening was celebrated with a family fun day that involved free music and dance classes, hair styling, a colouring competition and various other activities in aid of Francis House, which is their chosen charity for this year.
They also completed their monkey scarecrow ready for the Wilmslow Scarecrow Festival which runs until Saturday 9th July.
Liz Butterworth, the owner of the business, said "We were delighted to welcome some of our new starters as well as other families from the area who were keen to look round our fantastic facilities and join in with the fun events we had arranged.
"In all we raised £70 which is a great start to our year supporting Francis House. Other events planned include a summer barbecue, Christmas party, and I am also hoping to persuade staff to join a charity run event."
