Tasty treats coming to Wilmslow

Independent frozen yoghurt firm Yogberries is bringing their healthy treat to Wilmslow.

Founded by Sarah Bradley and Matthew Agass, Hale-based Yogberries is opening its second store on Water Lane next month.

Sarah, 26, from Sale, said "Whilst living in Melbourne we came across Cacao Green and I became addicted to the place and when we came back to the UK, whilst staying with Matt's parents in East London, I discovered Fro-yo had arrived in the UK.

"Having done some research into the London Frozen Yoghurt shops we noticed a gap in the market when we returned to Manchester. We were already planning to go into business together and we had originally thought of a restaurant, Matt is a trained chef graduating from Westminster Kingsway College, but thought this was too big an opportunity to miss.

"We have chosen Wilmslow because the gap for a healthy eating option was apparent and the area appears to be thriving, what with the existing supermarkets and coffee chains. When the opportunity came about for a large unit on the main road into Wilmslow we thought it would be an ideal location for a second store.

"We hope to offer the residents of Wilmslow a new concept of guilt-free snacking, alongside a quirky brand and a great place to meet with friends or entertain the whole family."

Yogberries will be opening on Saturday 9th July and there will be lots of activity going on that day including a balloon race and a 2 for 1 deal from 12-4pm.
