Cheshire Police have issued CCTV of a woman who was spotted stealing a television from the Marks and Spencer store in Handforth.
A CCTV operator at the store watched the woman who picked up the £179 television and placed it on her pushchair before walking out of the shop without paying for it on Thursday June 9th.
Inspector Matt Welsted said "The incident happened around 1pm when a female with a pushchair picked up the television and walked around the shop with it for a while before taking it out of the shop, getting in her car and driving off."
"The CCTV operator had watched her and thought it looked suspicious but she'd disappeared before they had the chance to get a guard."
