A high fashion Wilmslow store played host to an award winning jewellery designer at an informal drinks reception this week.
On Thursday, May 27th, I was fortunate to meet with Husam el Odeh, winner of the 2010 British Fashion Award for emerging talent and one of Vogue's 'designers to watch'.
Husam was at Black White Denim, on Alderley Road, showcasing his latest collection and discussing his life as an emerging young design talent.
Jo Davies, creator of Black White Denim, said "Celebrating the success of Black White Denim and it's new on-line store with our cherished customers was a wonderful way to spend an evening in Wilmslow.
"Even better was that Husam El Odeh, the winner of the British Fashion Award for Emerging Jewellery Design joined us and made one-off keepsake pieces for our special ladies."
The German-born designer has collaborated with Marios Schwab and counts Chloe Sevigny and Natasha Khan among his celebrity clients. His recent projects include a collection of twelve pieces for Topman and a collaboration with Swedish fashion brand Acne.
