Russell Watson greets his chocolate alter ego

Russell Watson was confronted by a life size chocolate sculpture of himself when he attended a charity event at Simon Dunn Chocolatier on Monday, May 23rd.

Oliver Dunn transformed himself from chocolatier to event organiser, compere and auctioneer to host an exclusive evening in the company of the opera singer and Kirsty Howard to raise funds for Francis House Children's Hospice.

Oliver said "It was a fantastic night of champagne, canapés and chocolate dipped strawberries!

One lady guest commented "I've done charity work for 40 years and I've never seen an auction turn into a cabaret like that, it was brilliant"

Over 130 people attended the charity bash and partied the night away with live music from Jack Tinner and Dan Williams. Guests donated money to Francis House to have their pictures taken with Russell Watson and chocolate Russell before it was broken up and eaten by the guests and sponsors.

The charity evening raised a fantastic £4,720 for Francis House Children's Hospice in Didsbury.
