Witness appeal following Handforth incident

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Handforth in which a car failed to stop for police.

At 10.25am on Tuesday, 24th May, a black BMW failed to stop for police on Wilmslow road in Handforth.

PC Eoin Anderson said: "This was a busy time of the day so there must have been people around who saw the car travelling at speed around the Handforth town centre area and then heading towards Heald Green."

A 25-year-old man from Cheadle Hulme has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on police bail.
