A womble and the Knutsford Town Crier will be at Little Nut Tree Toys on Saturday, May 4th, to reveal the store's new look.

The independent toy shop on Parsonage Green, has been given a garden themed make-over which includes trees, a fountain display and a pretend pond in the baby area where youngsters can discover little creatures.

Linked in with the garden theme, Little Nut Tree Toys we will be running a monthly Nature Trail. The first page will need to be completed in the shop and each child will be given a small gift to encourage them to return the completed nature trail quiz sheet and be entered into a monthly draw to win a gift voucher to spend in the shop.

Managing Director Jo Nicholson said "We wanted to make the shop more engaging and fun for both adults and kids and give something back to our customers.

"We still offer all the usual service extras like the loyalty discounts, gift wrapping and helpful advice, but with the addition of little things like our pond and animal footprints, we can take kids on a little voyage of discovery around the shop whilst the parents browse.

Jo added "There will also be bubbly, cakes, facepainting and balloons so it should be a fun day."
