Royal weighing day

The doors of the Handforth local Weight Watcher meeting were open for its 'Loyal Subjects' to attend their weekly weigh in on Friday, April 29th, before heading off to enjoy the Royal Wedding celebrations.

Leader June Bailey, who is celebrating 13 years at her gold weight this month, was delighted the members turned out in red, white and blue to support the occasion. After the weigh in the group celebrated by having English tea and scones, cucumber sandwiches and mini cup cakes baring the Union Jack - all carefully pointed for the member to stay on track.

June said "Up to the end of this week my meetings have lost over 340 stones, that's approximately 31 average people weighing in at 11 stones each.

"Meetings are fun and informative and members are being very successful at achieving weight losses with the Pro-Points Plan, one member alone having lost 45 pounds since the start of January."

Email June Bailey for further information of her meetings which are held every Tuesday and Friday at St Benedicts Catholic Church on Station Road, Handforth.
