The Royal Wedding is now just days away and Cheshire East Council has finalised plans for residents' street parties on Friday, April 29th.
A total of 7 road closures have been approved in Wilmslow to enable the events to take place. In addition to the traditional street party on Grove Street, to which all Wilmslow residents are being invited, six residential groups have organised street parties of their own.
The details for the street parties/ road closures in Wilmslow are:
Albany Road
Will be closed from 2pm to 7pm along the length of road comprising houses numbered 11-21 and 18-21.
Grove Street
Will be closed from 10am to 7pm from its junction with A538 Water Lane to its junction with Green Lane.
Hawthorn Avenue
Will be closed from 7am to 7pm from its junction with Hall Road for its entire length.
Sedgeford Close
Will be closed from 11am to 5pm along that length of road comprising houses numbered 1-7.
St Johns Road
Will be closed from 12pm to 5pm along the length of road comprising houses numbered 16-32 and 15-35.
Upcast Lane
Will be closed from 2pm to 5pm along the length of road comprising houses numbered 3-5 and 12-28.
Welton Drive
Will be closed from 9am to 10pm along that length of road comprising houses numbered 42-46 and 17-21.
