Caroline Castigliano has closed the doors of its Wilmslow store only seven months after opening for business.

The Water Lane boutique, formerly Per Sempre, was re-launched in July last year following a full refurbishment.

Speaking at the time, Amber Aldred, Head of Marketing, explained "The boutique was originally Caroline Castigliano. It was later sold and became Per Sempre, a bridal boutique stocking a range of wedding dresses, and a small collection of our gowns. However, because of the overwhelming demand from Cheshire brides for a more extensive collection of Castigliano gowns and dresses, who were coming to our Knightsbridge store to view the entire collection, Caroline has decided to buy back the boutique."

The Wilmslow boutique was the seventh stand-alone store featuring the Castigliano brand and customers will now have to travel to their Leeds or London shops.

A spokesperson for Caroline Castigliano said "The store was initially run by Per Sempre and we stepped in to help them out but we chose not to renew the lease. It is still business as usual for our other stores and we are currently contacting customers to let them know."
