Crew Clothing Co is the latest addition to Wilmslow's retail portfolio with a new store on Water Lane.

The shop opened on Thursday, 31st March, at 20, Water Lane in the premises previously occupied by the women's designer clothes shop Caroline.

The new store sells casual British clothing for both men and women which is influenced by its coastal heritage.

Crew Clothing started out in Salcombe in 1993, when founder Alastair Parker-Swift was running a thriving windsurfing business during the summer months. Seeing an opportunity Alastair sourced some navy and white rugby shirts and using local suppliers created the original 93 patch rugby shirt.

After only 10 days trading and instant success Alastair made the decision to find premises in Cowes for the start of Cowes Week. From this, the Crew Clothing brand was born.

Kirsty Ginman, Head of Retail at Crew Clothing Co., said "We are really excited to be open in Wilmslow, everyone has been so welcoming and the first few days of trading have been fantastic.

"We have a very loyal customer following in the area spurred on from our Chester and Abersoch stores; we hope to continue building our brand presence in the North."
