The sassy women of Wilmslow-based Cheshire A Cappella are giddy with joy after winning their A Cappella chorus class at Hazel Grove Music Festival on Saturday, 5th March.

Adjudicating judge David King was full of praise for the new girls on the block commending the vivacity they injected into their performance. "Each of the three songs you sang was full of life. You connected wonderfully with the audience, it's hard to believe you're only a two year old chorus. It was a cracking good performance!"

Two of the three songs performed – the up-tempo number, "You're Nobody 'til Somebody loves You" and the beautiful ballad, "You don't know Me" - are Cheshire A Cappella's chosen pieces for the upcoming UK National Championships being held this year at Birmingham's Symphony Hall in early May.

The chorus is most definitely going places and if you'd like to know more about what they do, or are interested in joining them, check out their website or call 07896 157411.
