An unattended handbag was stolen from a bench inside Wilmslow Leisure Centre on Sunday, 27th February.
The stolen handbag contained car keys which the thief then used to steal a silver Audi.
The incident occurred between 11.40 am and 12.15 pm and the offender made off along the A34 heading towards Manchester. The vehicle has since been found in Greater Manchester and investigations are under way.
