A safe has been stolen from a flat on the outskirts of town in broad daylight.
Thieves broke in to a block of six flats at Pownall Court, Wilmslow between 10am and 12.45pm on Tuesday, 1st March. They gained entry to a first floor flat and discarded other valuable items when they discovered a safe in the wardrobe of the main bedroom.
They proceeded to carry the heavy safe down the stairs and out through the front door, where offenders had reversed a car across the front garden enabling them to load the safe in to the vehicle.
