Wilmslow & District Lions are organising a Charity Swimathon for local children.
All schools in Wilmslow, Handforth and Alderley Edge have been invited to take part in this charity event that not only raises much needed funds for a good cause but also promotes good healthy exercise amongst the children.
Janet Nagle, from Wilmslow & District Lions Club, said "We want the children to have fun and at the same time raise some money for their schools or clubs. The children can enter the event as a school group or individuals. We hope to get as many children to participate as possible.
The Lions Charity Swimathon will take place at Wilmslow Leisure Centre on Saturday 26th March from 4pm to 6pm.
50% of the money raised by each organisation will be awarded to them and the remaining money will be used to support the Lions' charities.
