A new gift shop has opened on Altrincham Road this week specialising in christening favours, baby gifts and babywear.
Bellina is a new venture for Olga Kanellis from Macclesfield who has spent the past 15 years working in the food industry.
Olga, 40, said "I go to a lot of Mediterranean christening parties, mainly in Greece and Italy where they are much more elaborate. The churches are all decorated in children's themes and they give out favours at the parties.
"I thought there would be a market in this area for people looking to do something different."
Bellina opened on Monday at 4 Altrincham Road and stocks babies shoes, baby clothing from newborn to age 5, outfits for christenings and special occasions, favours and a selection of baby gifts.
