As a reward for all their hard work throughout the term, the whole of Lindow Community Primary School travelled to the Grange Theatre in Hartford to see the Dick Whittington pantomime by Halle Productions.
Headteacher Darren Morgan, who was in charge of the whole school outing, said "Seasoned comedian Gareth James, who played "Idle Jack" should have stood by the old adage never work with animals or children, and certainly don't try to do both together! Calling children up on stage to help him sing Old Macdonald's Farm he found himself upstaged by our 4 year old reception student Poppy Bufton.
"It was Poppy who got the laughs for her excellent timing, delivering animal noises, and stage presence in front of an audience of over 200. Watch out for the X Factor in 15 years time!"
