Steakhouse opens its doors to Wilmslow

Following a couple of training sessions and their launch party, Miller and Carter's new steakhouse opened its doors to the public today, Monday 13th December.

I went along last week to see how the Old Rectory on Station Road had been transformed and to meet the manager Diane McInerney, who has spent the past 9 years managing the Miller and Carter's steakhouse in Stoke on Trent.

Diane told me "I am really excited because I am going to be living upstairs and I have never lived anywhere with such a sense of community. Everyone I have spoken to has been really passionate about Wilmslow."

The restaurant obviously specialises in steaks, which are reared on West Country farms, but they also offer a selection of burgers, chicken and fish. 86 covers can be served upstairs, 44 downstairs and there is a licensed over 21 bar.
