Jackie Collins will be at Tesco in Handforth Dean on Wednesday, 8th September, to launch her new DVD Paris Connections which is the first film to be produced and financed by retail giant Tesco, in association with Amber Entertainment.

Premiered on DVD exclusively at Tesco today, the film has been cleverly adapted from her hit novel Jackie Collin's Paris Connections, which is a thrilling and glamorous tale of glamour, sex, obsession and murder.

Paris Connections features an international cast including Charles Dance (The Jewel in the Crown, Gosford Park), Trudie Styler (Me Without You, Living Proof) and rising star Nicole Steinwedell (A Single Man, The Unit), who plays one of Jackie Collins' most exciting heroines; beautiful and sassy investigative journalist, Madison Castelli.

The film also features a special role from multi award winning actress and Academy Award® nominee, Anouk Aimee (Un Homme et Une Femme), as well as Caroline Chikezie (Footballers Wives), Hudson Leik (Xena: Warrior Princess) and French superstar Anthony Delon (Frenchman's Creek), son of acclaimed actor Alan Delon.

Jackie Collins said of this new film adaptation: "I'm delighted with this fantastic cast that will bring my characters to life. Nicole Steinwedell is my perfect Madison; smart and beautiful, Nicole is a fine actress – proven on her stint as a regular on The Unit. Anthony Delon is full of charm and French charisma and he and Nicole will make magic together. Charles Dance as my powerful Russian will bring such a strength to the role. A terrific actor with a great screen presence as is Trudie Styler who has class, style and acting chops."

Set against the beautiful backdrop of one of the world's most stunning cities, Jackie Collins' Paris Connections brings the Parisian glamour, romance and intrigue alive. It is available exclusively from Tesco stores and online at Tesco.com from today and you can pick up your own signed copy and meet the glamorous author at Tesco's Handforth Dean store from 1pm on Wednesday, 8th September.
