Man grabs girl in Macclesfield

Cheshire police are asking parents and youngsters to be vigilant after an incident today in Macclesfield. At about 3.30 pm today, 6th May, a 15 year old girl was walking along Priory Lane in Macclesfield, when she saw a man who had been walking a few yards in front of her, jump into the front garden of a house on the street.

As the girl was then passing the garden, the same man jumped out in front of her, and grabbed both of her forearms saying "You're coming with me". The girl pushed him away, and ran back to her school, in a state of distress. The man did not follow her.

The offender is described as a white man, in his mid 30s, 5'8" tall, of fat build with a large stomach. He had short dark cropped hair, and had stubble on his chin. He was wearing a dark blue polo shirt with yellow horizontal striped across it, a black nylon jacket, which was possibly an Adidas tracksuit top. This had reflective stripes on the shoulders. He was also wearing black jeans, black scruffy work boots, and he had very yellow teeth. He spoke with a local accent, and had a very deep voice.
