Police officers arrested two women on Victoria Road in Wilmslow on suspicion of theft, at 1.30pm on Saturday 20th January.
The women, aged 24 and 30, are both from the Birmingham area.
The arrests relate to the theft of items from seven stores in Wilmslow town centre, including five charity shops.
Both women have been released on police bail and are set to report back to officers on 30 January 2023.
