Leading Italian restaurant, Luciano by Gino D'Acampo, Alderley Edge, has introduced a new lunch and early evening menu as it unveils its new seasonal dishes.

Available from 12pm to 6pm every day, the new set menu invites guests to enjoy two courses for £21 and three for £25. Including an aperitivi, an Italian pre-dining drink, with options including a Bellini, Aperol spritz, glass of Prosecco or elderflower and apple, it presents exceptional value.

The number of featured dishes is generous with six starters and six mains courses to choose from, catering for all dietary requirements. All have been selected from the Italian chef's new autumn/winter à-la-carte menu, which sees an emphasis on authentic Italian, crowd-pleasing dishes.

Leading the list of starters is San Daniele ham bruschetta with 'nduja, honey and pistachio; Heritage tomato bruschetta; minestrone; and caprese salad; joined by signature dishes calamari fritti with garlic mayonnaise and lemon, and prawn bruschetta with chilli mayonnaise.

Mains courses are equally satisfying and include a mix of both hearty and lighter options. Pasta lovers are well catered for with three dishes to choose from - tagliatelle seafood; rigatoni with sausage, rosemary and porcini – ingredients that work wonderfully together and are bursting with earthy flavours; and an incredible pumpkin and ricotta tortelloni served with sage butter and toasted pine nuts - a classic dish that captures the very essence of autumn.

Complementing the trio of pasta options is Luciano by Gino D'Acampo's beautiful sea bass with panzanella; pizza margherita with buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano tomato and basil; and, for those looking for a crisp and fresh bite to eat, a chicken Caesar salad.

A selection of optional side plates is available for guests looking to add to their meal and include truffle pecorino fries (£7); garlic & rosemary potatoes (£5.25); rocket & pecorino salad (£6.50) and grilled broccoletti with butter and pecorino (£5.50); along with spinach served with chilli and garlic (£5.50) and roasted vegetables, thyme, honey (£5.50).

For diners looking to enjoy three courses or that prefer a mains and dessert, a range of sweet treats can also be found including the premium Italian restaurant's much-celebrated bomboloni - Italian doughnuts with a raspberry & white chocolate sauce; tiramisu; apple & blackberry crostata served with vanilla ice cream; and gelato.

The launch of the new lunch and early evening offer coincides with the unveiling of Luciano by Gino D'Acampo's new seasonal menu, with all dishes created from scratch, using the autumn harvest's finest ingredients.

The offer is broad, with Gino and his team of expert chefs ensuring that all tastes are catered for. Dishes are split into ten sections including cicchetti and sharing plates; antipasti; carpaccio and tartare; insalata; pasta and risotto; dal mare; bistecca; dalla terra; pizza Napoletana, and contorni.

Renowned for its extensive steak selection, this season sees the introduction of a superior Australian, award-winning Aberdeen Black beef - pasture reared and grain fed for 120 days. Cooked to perfection the sirloin (300g/£38.95) (500g/£62.50) and ribeye steaks (300g/£42) (500g/£66.50) have a buttery melt in the mouth. Both are served with fries & a choice of butter or sauce - green peppercorn, salsa verde, truffle butter and 'Nduja Butter.

The fish (dal mare) section has also been expanded for the new season and includes a generous number of options. Choose from the salmon with panzanella (£23); grilled swordfish with salsa verde (£25); whole boneless sea bass with lemon caper sauce (£25); and wild Atlantic cod with cherry tomato, salame and rosemary (£24). Sautéed king prawns with garlic, chilli, Prosecco (£27) provide the perfect option for those looking to celebrate.

For a dish that embodies the new season look no further than the slow-cooked beef (£24). Marinated in red wine for 24 hours, cooked for eight, and served on a bed of potato puree, it's rich and comforting and falls away when eating, so tender is the meat. The dish is joined by a roast pork belly served with radicchio and hazelnuts (£21) and veal Milanese amongst a number of new alternatives.
