Oliver Dunn, from Simon Dunn chocolatier, will be taking part in the Bupa Great Manchester Run on Sunday 16th May to raise funds for The Kirsty Club, which aims to build a brighter future for Francis House Children’s Hospice in Manchester.

Some famous faces, including Russell Watson, Samia Smith and Richard Fleeshman, will be joining Oliver in Britain's premier 10km running event - raising funds to expand and provide a new facility for Francis House, which desperately needs to be able to offer more support for more families of children with a short life expectancy.

Oliver, who met Kirsty at a recent Henri Lloyd charity auction said "It was lovely to meet her, she is a real sweetie. I offered to do a chocolate party for Kirsty and her friends, she was obviously keen on the idea then Phil Taylor, Kirsty Club Director, asked me if I fancied doing the Manchester 10km run for Kirsty, to which I have agreed and have started training."

Oliver, who is collecting sponsors through the Simon Dunn shop in Wilmslow said "Fingers crossed all our chocolate loving customers will help me raise a loads of cash".

If you wish to sponsor Oliver please pop in to the Wilmslow store or email [email protected]. For further information visit www.thekirstyclub.com.
