Reader's Letter: Can't read, won't read?

IMG_1095

Monday morning in the Carrs after a weekend of glorious weather for picnics in the park.

In spite of Cheshire East's pleas, some members of the public are clearly making no effort to keep the park attractive for other users.

Repeated visits by the bin emptiers, extra bags for litter, what more do people want?

It isn't enough to stuff picnic leftovers in a bag and leave it on the floor near a bin where the foxes and crows can get at it. It has to be taken home and disposed of hygienically.

I often wonder what these litter louts would think if , upon their arrival at the park, they were confronted by loads of litter that other people had left the day before? Bet they’d be the first to complain.
