Are you vulnerable or isolated? Do you need help with supplies or just a friendly phone call?

The coronavirus pandemic is a challenging time for everyone but for some is it more difficult than others.

However, the kindness and support shown by our communities has been fantastic.

People are coming forward to help ensure our vulnerable and isolated residents receive the help and support they need.

To assist with this Cheshire East Council have launched a Social Brokerage Service – People Helping People. This is a platform for people and services to offer their help and for those who are most vulnerable to request help. The service will then match offer with request.

If you would like to offer support or need help with the following

  • Shopping/gathering medical supplies
  • Meal delivery
  • Advice and Guidance
  • A friendly phone call
  • Or another support service ....

Call 0300 123 5034

Or Register online at cheshireeast.gov.uk/peoplehelpingpeople

For those on Facebook, a useful support group to consider joining is the
Wilmslow Self Isolation/Quarantine Support Group.

Local community volunteers are aiming to help the vulnerable during this
difficult time.
