Wilmslow kitchen retailer, Kutchenhaus is defying the ongoing pressures on bricks and mortar retailers operating on the high street, by reporting that it has beaten their first-year revenue target by 15%.

The store, at Warham Street, which serves customers across Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and Staffordshire, is managed by franchisee owner Karl Donovan, who has operated the business success story for 14 months.

The growth is primarily down to the quality of the in-store customer experience, the German designed and manufactured kitchens that Kutchenhaus is famous for and the increased consumer demand for affordable quality. The business is now forecasting a 12-month revenue growth target in excess of last year's results as it looks to build further success.

The showroom also recently scooped the 2019 Silver Award at the North East Cheshire Business Awards for Small Business of the Year.

Karl Donovan, business owner of Kutchenhaus in Wilmslow commented: "We're delighted that we smashed our targets for the past year by 15% as we strive to become the number one kitchen showroom in Cheshire. We have ambitious plans for the future and these past two months give a reason to believe we can smash this year's forecast!"

Kutchenhaus in Wilmslow boasts 1,080 square feet of retail space and employs 3 staff across customer services and kitchen design.

Sean Ford, national head of sales and operations for Kutchenhaus, said: "Kutchenhaus is on an ambitious growth path over the next 2-3 years, so it's fantastic to see the progress Karl and the team are making at our Wilmslow business. There's no doubt trading conditions are tough for many bricks and mortar retailers and the home improvement market is extremely competitive, but we find that our franchise owners are bucking the trend by creating an engaging store environment and delivering a high-quality end product."

Established in 2004, Kutchenhaus is a franchise business owned by Europe's largest kitchen manufacturer,Nobilia. Customers can both buy online at www.kutchenhaus.co.uk or one of its 34 showrooms across the UK.
