North-West property developer PH Homes has been celebrating again – this time after its Cedar Square development at exclusive Alderley Park won a WhatHouse? Award for Best Development.

Known as the 'Oscars' of the UK housebuilding industry, the prestigious WhatHouse? Awards takes place every November, with a Gala Luncheon in Park Lane, London. PH Homes are no strangers to winning WhatHouse? Awards – they won Best Luxury House in 2018 and Best Renovation in 2015 – and this year, the judges chose Cedar Square as winner of the Bronze Award in the Best Development category.

In their report, they described the beautiful three-storey townhouses – designed by internationally-renowned architect Robert Adam – as 'masterpieces in classical appearance', adding that 'all accommodation is spacious, practical, luxurious and well detailed' and summarising that 'this is an excellent scheme'.

PH have three developments in total at Alderley Park – the place to live in this already fashionable part of Cheshire – with The Ride grouped around a 'village green', The Serpentine alongside the Victorian fishing lake and Cedar Square at the heart of this former country estate.

Cedar Square's 27 well-appointed homes are tastefully arranged around a mighty Lebanese Cedar tree in a style reminiscent of London's finest Georgian squares. The setting is simply sublime; close to historic buildings that once formed part of the Stanley estate and just a few steps from the walled garden and arboretum. All of which, no doubt, influenced the judges' decision.

"We're delighted to have won such a prestigious award", commented Philip Hughes, PH Homes' Managing Director, "and that our development at Alderley Park has been recognised at a national level. With such a superb setting and beautiful homes, it's no wonder they've proved such a sales success too."

Alderley Park will feature a wide range of luxury properties, alongside hundreds of acres of estate parkland including the original listed walled gardens, arboretum, water garden and serpentine, together with access to an exceptional range of first-class leisure facilities with gym, squash and tennis courts, a gastro-pub and farm shop.
