A 15-year-old girl from Wilmslow was left with a badly damaged nose, eye socket, cheek bone and lip after being assaulted in Wilmslow town centre on Halloween.
At 7.10pm on Thursday 31st October police received a report of a disturbance involving a number of youths on Grove Street.
A police spokesperson said "Officers attended to the scene and spoke to a 15-year-old girl who is believed to have been assaulted and had her phone stolen."
Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone who has any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 553512.
