Plans have been submitted to change the use of a former takeaway into a domestic dwelling, including alterations to the front elevation to change the shop frontage into a door and window.
Helen Kan, who ran Wing Wah Chinese takeaway on Chapel Lane until it closed in April this year after trading in the town for over 40 years, has applied to convert the ground floor into living accommodation, expanding upon the current accommodation above.
