Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision on the A34 Melrose Way in Alderley edge.
A motorcyclist was riding a black Yamaha MT-07 from Wilmslow towards Monks Heath when he collided with the rear of a white Hyundai I10 on A34 Melrose Way at 5.49pm on Saturday, 6th July.
The rider, a 22-year-old man from Wilmslow, received serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Salford Royal Hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage, to contact police on 101 or online.
