Fire in children's play area thought to be deliberate

Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a children's play area in the Colshaw Farm area of Wilmslow at around 7.50pm on Tuesday, 23rd April.

On arrival at Tame Walk the crew discovered that the fire involved a seesaw and rubber matting in the play area.

Firefighters were in attendance for around 20 minutes and used a hose reel jet and buckets of water to extinguish the fire.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

PCSO Hancock said "I am extremely upset about the fire on Colshaw play area last night. Someone must know something."
