In a dour match all three goals were bizarrely own goals. Although not at their best Wilmslow exerted most pressure and just about deserved the three points to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

In the early stages of the game this looked a close match but eventually Di 'Sniffer' Law broke the deadlock. This was followed by a goal from Becca Healy which brought the score to 2-0 at half time. In the second half the Tangerines turned up the heat and the midfield combined well to overwhelm Knutsford with a further four goals, from Tracey Moir (2), Fi Campbell and Di Law.
