Handforth's Christmas light switch on will take place at 4:30pm on Saturday 24th November 2018.
During the day there will be a mini Christmas Market in the Paddock from 1pm to 5pm with various community stalls and activities.
The honour of pressing the switch to illuminate the village will be carried out by the winners of the school's poster competition
Father Christmas will be meeting the children in his grotto and the entertainment will be provided by variety of acts including school choirs and other talented artists.
