Nursery owner Melanie Hallam talks about the changes, "As a nursery business we are constantly evolving to meet new challenges. Many of these challenges come from local and central government, however we also spend time talking to our families to understand their requirements, which are constantly changing with the very full, and often demanding lives we now lead."
"Re-grouping our nursery children into their 'school year' has a number of advantages. On the one hand we can provide more focus on the age appropriate activities for that group, whilst on the other, we can encourage the evolution of friendships between those children who are likely to meet year after year and may well attend the same school together. Both our Prep and Pre-Prep learners continue to share our outdoor environment, providing the opportunity to mix with older and younger children, which we recognise as a vital part in socialisation through our Montessori learning."
Alderley Day Nursery has grown in 2018 and now has additional places available, offering up to 1,140 free nursery hours, stretched over the year, to eligible families of 2, 3 & 4 year olds through the Governments Early Years Foundation Stage Grant.
Parents are invited to see first-hand how a Montessori environment embraces and develops a child's thirst for knowledge. Visits to view the nursery are offered daily and can be booked by calling the nursery on 01625 860660, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or via the website www.alderleydaynursery.com.
