Reader's Letter: Open the post box

Part of the post box on the corner of Wilmslow Park north and Adlington Road was stolen nearly two years ago.This served Wilmslow Park Adlington Road and Bollin Park.

As the sign indicates we have been waiting for a replacement. By the way there is not a complete footpath from there to the Hough Lane one.

Several months ago we noted that one had appeared around the corner in Fawns Keep. However we are still holding our breath and wondering when this will be available. Tress Attwell

Not sure the point of installing a new post box but then keeping it wrapped up for weeks on end. Are we waiting for the Queen to come and open it officially?

Like privatised companies such as 'bus companies reducing services until they dwindle and die, it probably won't be opened anytime soon - someone might use it.
