A Wilmslow resident has been charged with arson following an incident which is believed to have occurred in the early hours of Monday, 4th June.
Police officers were called to Clay Lane at 9am where they found a car had been burnt out.
A police spokesperson said "Stephen Barnes, 54, of Clay Lane, Wilmslow, has been charged with arson. He will next appear at Chester Crown Court on July 4th."
