Canines caper in the glorious sunshine

The annual family fun dog show arranged by the Friends of the Carrs took place in glorious sunshine on Sunday 20th May.

This was the sixth year of the popular Canine Capers event which attracted over 100 entries from dogs of all sizes.

This year a redesigned agility course allowed owners to test their dog's abilities against the clock.

Organiser, John Booth said "We would like to thank everyone who supported the event and joined us on the day to make this such a success. It is very rewarding to see so many enjoying the Park we all love and treasure.

"The funds raised will enable us to make even more improvements in the coming months."

My dog, Perra, won Best in Show. It was the proudest moment of her life and over the next year she is looking to work towards world peace. She is also available for bookings to open supermarkets and other public engagements.
